RIDING FOR REGIONAL YOUTH

Building on the success of our previous rides, we are once again dedicating our efforts in 2025 to supporting rural and regional youth.

This year, we are proud to support BackTrack Youth Works and Boys to the Bush, both of which have outstanding reputations for advancing the wellbeing, care, development, and education of disadvantaged youth throughout New South Wales.

Our History

Almost a decade ago, we co-created a charity bike ride that’s become a major part of our annual Giving Program. To date, this ride alone has raised over $3,600,000.

Ride To Give is an important part of our pledge to support causes that make a real difference to those in need. These causes often involve supporting the health and education of youth and those facing social or financial disadvantage, with a focus on regional and rural Australia.

Each year, the ride’s route will benefit different regional communities as we ride through and show our support for regional schools, local community clubs, Indigenous communities and local charities.

We are grateful to the many industry friends and clients that share our passion. This ride is about the collective making a difference.

About FDC

FDC is a national construction and fitout business which started from humble beginnings over 30 years ago. Today it is a major participant in the Australian construction industry, led by a community first culture and delivering award winning projects across sectors such as commercial buildings, data centres, hi-tech industrial, workplace, education, health and asset refurbishment.

Despite the growth, we have never forgotten what matters most. It’s our people. The people that have got us to where we are and those that will take us further.

We’re committed to leaving a legacy we can all be proud of.

From fundraising events to sponsorships to our ongoing work with local communities, we’re working hard to build a better future. At FDC we make an annual pledge to help causes that have made a personal impact to our people, families, partners or clients.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respects to their Elders - past, present and emerging - and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This year we ride across the land of the Wiradjuri, Ngunnawal, Tarlo, Burra Burra, Wollondilly, Pajong, Parramarragoo and Cookmal peoples. We acknowledge and respect these living cultures and their peoples, as the traditional custodians of the land on which we ride and pay tribute to the unique role that they have played and continue to play in the region.
