I'm fundraising for...

Hello again, the time of year has quickly come around and I’m about to head off on my yearly fundraising ride.  It is amazing, that 10 years ago, I reluctantly joined a group to support a friend and swore I would never put my body through this again - yet here I find myself about to embark on another ride with less preparation than the year before, but knowing that my efforts will make a difference for those less fortunate than myself.  On 19th May 2024, we head off from Young and over three days and 475km we complete the ride in Canberra with over 3000m of climbing.  This year we are raising funds for the incredible work that “Boys in the Bush” do to ensure we continue to improve the wellbeing, development and futures of our communities’ most vulnerable youth.  Every dollar you donate, no matter how large or small, adds up to truly make a difference. Greatly appreciate any contributions and look forward to buying you a drink in thanks next time I see you.  Stay safe, Nigel

Good luck, Nige. Sounds like a pretty tough ride. I've done a fair bit of cycling in those parts and it's rarely flat. Cheers, Tom

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respects to their Elders - past, present and emerging - and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This year we ride across the land of the Wiradjuri, Ngunnawal, Tarlo, Burra Burra, Wollondilly, Pajong, Parramarragoo and Cookmal peoples. We acknowledge and respect these living cultures and their peoples, as the traditional custodians of the land on which we ride and pay tribute to the unique role that they have played and continue to play in the region.
